Underfloor Cooling

Underfloor Hydronic Cooling is effective for reducing the base load of your cooling requirements. There are not many products that you can use for opposite results. Underfloor hydronic systems provide flexibility to not only heat but also to cool. Hydronic cooling is a low energy concept that can be used with passive natural air ventilation systems to provide comfortably cool surroundings.

Hydronic cooling systems can significantly contribute to reductions in total energy costs in that when used as a direct cooling source via an in-slab system, the need for and reliance on traditional, less efficient (and typically high energy consuming) air conditioners is reduced.

Underfloor hydronic cooling is generally suplimented by hydronic fan coil units to provide a complete cooling solution. Underfloor cooling is harder to control as there are chances of creating condensation on the floor, the recommended setting for underfloor is about 12 degrees.
